Multi-Level Marketing Opportunities Strategy
Multi-level marketing is also referred to as pyramid selling, network marketing, and referral marketing. Multi-level marketing has a marketing structure with a certain hierarchical characteristic where sales are not only produced from personal sales but also through the use of hired and recruited salespersons. Salespeople are expected to be able to make direct sales to different people by means of personal relationships and through referrals as well. In this marketing strategy, the salespeople who make the direct sales do not directly profit from the sales made but rather from the company which they work for. Word of mouth is an important component for this type of business opportunity because it is a means of attracting more customers. Without “word of mouth”, salespersons are limited to the people to whom they have direct relationships with.
